Amazon Basics 2-Ply Toilet Paper, 30 Rolls (5 Packs of 6), Equivalent to 129 regular rolls
Kudos for trying to create an environmentally responsible product... but... we thought the product was about equal to bargain basement type tissues, which would have been relatively OK in it's self, but not at the price. At this price, at this quality, I suspect that the market share of this product will never meet the environmental demand for these kinds of products. why buy poor TP for $10 when I can get poor TP for $5?
Nicest toilet paper I've ever used in a camper. It's not that single ply uncomfortable stuff you usually use. It wipes amazing, and gets the job done. Also I'd like to add the softness is not like Charmin ultra soft so if you're looking for that for your camper this isn't it but I love this toilet paper like I said before it's the best toilet paper I've used in a camper. And I will definitely be buying again.
If this is 2-ply, they're very THIN and very closely bonded plys. Feels like one ply. I usually use Northern Quilted (the 2 ply, not the ultra plush 3 ply), and wanted to try non-tree TP. This is noticeably much thinner. Not crunchy like Scott TP, thank goodness. Falls apart a little quicker than Northern, but that's not surprising considering the thickness.
I needed this in a hurry... too lazy to go to a store, not gonna lie, wanted tree-free paper but didn't want to shop for it. Got it in a day (yay!), distributed to the two bathrooms (3 rolls each). They were gone in ... about a day. The rolls are incredibly tiny! And like every tree-free paper I've seen so far, it's... kinda dry and scratchy on your hands. I'm perfectly fine with that, but good lord I've heard people complain about the craziest things.Really just frustrated with how small the rolls are. Feel like they made small rolls just to stretch out the number of rolls they can advertise. Unlike being able to see and feel packs of TP on the shelf at the store, shopping online, you don't really notice the number-fluffing. Oh well.Make bigger rolls (like the rest of the industry, really), and it'll fit right in. 🙂
I wasn't going to purchase this as they're such small rolls for such a large price, but my car broke down and I couldn't get to the dollar general in time for new toilet paper and this was the cheapest I could find.I am honestly hooked. It IS very thin and isn't really "soft", but it is gently, if that makes sense. It's very tough, but extremely absorbent. 3-4 sheets works better than 10 sheets of name brand toilet paper. One roll lasted two people almost a week, through aunt Flo's visit. I will be buying repeatedly.
These rolls were $1 or $2 less than my normal toilet paper. My family is very particular when it comes to toilet paper. It has to be soft and strong. I wanted to switch to bamboo because it better on the environment. I'm trying to do my part in little ways. When I first saw the pack I thought, oh, no. My husband is going to complain about this. It's been so long since I'd seen a normal size roll it looked so small. It also looked thin, like tissue paper.I will tell you, when I got it out of the pack I was sold! I am now a bamboo believer! It's not as pillowy soft as what we'd used before, but it's not at all scratchy. It actually does have some quilting-esque pattern that softens it up. It is also just as strong and absorbent as any other brand. That impressed me the most. I think it is actually stronger without having to be thicker. This means less clogging. I will definitely be trying more bamboo products. Now, will I stick with all bamboo TP forever? No. But I will be incorporating it, and I'm now willing to try paper towels and sponges and wouldn't bat an eye if my regular stuff wasn't available. This is my go to, and not just for the guest bath.
The picture makes it look big but they are tiny. It is little thicker than other tiny rolls but it is still tiny
I very rarely give anything one star. However, this stuff went well out of its way to earn such a dubious distinction. It's soft, yes. And weak. Very. It doesn't absorb at all. It falls apart with the slightest moisture.Compared to the other bamboo loo paper I have used and loved, this stuff was rubbish. These rolls are very small. It takes far too much of it to take care of things, especially the behind the scenes action to be of any decent value. It took 2-3 times more of this junk to tend to things than the kind I actually like. I used this several times, and it was such a waste. I happily went back to my favourite dunny paper. At least mine is 100% pure bamboo!
This is a little more expensive than regular toilet paper. I started ordering it because there are too many hoarders where I live and often cannot buy toilet paper. I like this product, it's strong (your fingers don't go through it when wet) and soft enough. I find I don't use as much so it lasts so the price balances the usage. I like the fact it is kinder for the environment. I would like to see more products using a fabulous renewable resource using bamboo. I will continue to receive this monthly. Toilet paper problems solved.
