I've tried 5 smart watches all operating on a different app and at various price points from $30 to $300. This one is $150 and is in my opinion the only real competitor to an apple or galaxy watch. My son owns an apple watch and I managed to impress him with some features. Particularly the battery life. He laughed at the advertised 12 day battery life. When I finally HAD to charge my watch after 6 days of heavy use, he couldn't believe it. The other feature his more expensive apple watch doesn't have is the ability to quickly display multiple digital business cards by means of a qr code generated by the watch app. One click and anybody can scan my code to visit my website. Totally genius! Thankfully, I found a watch I can keep and be absolutely happy with. The zepp app is by far the best I have used and makes the watch super customizable. I'm picky when it comes to tech and I don't leave many reviews. The fact I'm taking the time for this product means something. Hope this helps someone.
April 6, 2024: Update, I reached out to customer service because, well, the battery problem is simply unacceptable for only having it for just over a year. Let me preface how it is used: I wear it 24/7, but use it to 1) look at texts/calls as they come in 2) check the time, 3) use the stop watch for about 20 minutes a day total and 4) find my phone. Most of these features I only use about 5 times a week. I don't use it to play games or really much of anything that would suck the battery up too badly. So when I reached out to customer service their response was very obviously automated asking me to troubleshoot the problem. No issue. When I did and said more or less, "it is pretty obviously the battery", they essentially reiterated ways I could try to "save" the battery life, with another automated response. Suggestions included:Please refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot the issue:1) The watch charging takes about 2.5 hours, please confirm whether your watch is fully charged;2) The battery life may vary according to settings, usage, climatic temperature, and other factors. So the actual result may differ from the laboratory data.3) The more power-consuming applications in the watch will also shorten the battery life. Please also check whether the watch is with the latest firmware. If not, please upgrade the watch and observe the battery performance;Note: The following apps would cause fast power consumption: screen display, sleep breathing quality, frequent use of Bluetooth phones or listening to music (if supported), the Screen-on Duration for too long, too many notification reminders, Always On Display enabled, GPS for a long time Exercise, turn on Auto Blood Oxygen Monitor, etc.4) Then please do the following settings to see if the watch battery life will improve.* Set the Response speed of Lift wrist to view info function to Normal mode* Turn off the Always On Display* Disable Sleep breathing quality monitoring* Disable Auto Stress Monitoring* Disable Auto Blood Oxygen Monitor* Change the Screen-on Duration time to 5 seconds* Do not choose any Wake-up Mode for Offline Voice ControlIt has now been 4 days since that reply, at which point I reiterated that it is very obviously an issue with the battery and disabling any and all of the above "suggestions" would defeat the purpose of having a smartwatch. I'm still waiting on a response. Changing my review to a one star because of the customer service.March 31, 2024: I've had this watch for over a year, 16 months to be exact. All of a sudden the battery life just tanked, despite using it exactly the same as I always have in the past. It's battery life is okay but only lasts about half as long as it used to.Additionally, it has issues with notifications where it will continue to display text notifications that I've already read and acknowledged. Again, not a big deal but annoying.Overall, it is an okay watch. I'm not sure if I intend to continue using it moving forward or if I will get something different.
I don't normally write long reviews like this. but i am SO thrilled about this watch. i did NOT expect to like it as much as i do, and i didn't see anywhere about all the extra stuff it includes. (idk, maybe i'm blind)first off, you can literally add GAMES to ur watch. like tik tac toe, black jack, whack-a-mole, etc. they're actually really fun to play. there's other apps that you can download like tarot readings, gps, birthday reminders, like a lot of stuff.there's also a bunchhhhhh of different wallpapers you can choose from, and some of them are free!!!i love this thing, i originally got it just for tracking my steps and to answer calls when i'm not near my phone. this is so awesome. i don't understand how this could possibly have bad reviews. it works great with my iphone too.my only minimal issue i have is that i can't figure out how to get texts to show up on my watch. that's really it. everything else is PERFECT.
The Amazfit GTR3 Pro smart watch deserves 5+ stars! I'm loving it. It is the best smart watch for the money in my opinion. I am a protectionist so I normally buy name brand things because they are normally better, for the most pay at least. But one of the main reasons I chose this is the battery life. A Google or Samsung watch has to be recharged every day. I along with most people charge their devices at night. But if you charge at night you can not make use of the sleep analysis which is one of the most important features for me. It says the GTR 3 Pro last for 12 days, what a huge difference! I got mine 04/22/2024, it's now 05/01/2024 and the battery level is at 13%. I also have all the high battery use features (minus always on display) turned on so that is impressive. The display is high quality-very clear, vibrant, and bright. Another reason why I choose this is because it has Alexa built in. It's very handy to have especially if you have a lot of smart devices. I really like how the top side button is a scroll wheel to easily navigate thru text messages, notifications, menus etc.. The Zepp app is awesome. The Aura feature inside Zepp app is amazing! It's very advanced, it plays brain frequencies, heart beat, melodies, and nature sounds to help you sleep, meditate, it just relax. What makes it so advanced and special is it monitors you as it plays different sounds and finds what sounds effect you the most and uses those to help you fall asleep faster. It works way better than I imagined it would. It works so well I end up sleeping with my ear buds in all night. I normally listen to sleep hypnosis videos on YouTube and remove my ear buds whenever I wake up for the first time during the night. With Aura I don't wake up any to be able to take the ear buds off. That speaks volumes. I could go on and on but if you want a good smart watch this is 100% the one to get!!
This is my first smart watch. I have resisted for a while I like my analog time pieces they do what I need and are reliable and for sure not needy, still what do you want a watch to do? My phone keeps the time and I keep my phone close. There are clocks all over my house and work, more and more I would only put on a watch in formal situations.I found myself wanting a way to develop better habits. To do that I thought it would be helpful to track biometric data. It would also be great to have reminders to stretch or walk about and a way to look back on changes.Amazfit has a huge range of choices, starting at 30 bucks up to the hundreds of dollars. I caught a sale and got the last gen GTR3 for close to 100 bucks. So far I am impressed. The watch does a lot by itself. There are multiple screens and controls so I need to look at my phone less. I can even update it using Wifi and not need a phone synched. It comes with an app Zepp. The app fits the watch best as though you can sync the data with Google Fit there are many more functions available using Zepp. It comes with a wide range of watch faces for free, though you can pay to have even more choices. It has apps for the watch,if you find yourself in need of such things. The biometrics seem to be accurate, I know others standards for heart rate, or blood oxy, or sleep tracking are much higher but for me they seem to work well enough.I hope the durability is good. I know it will not last for 5 or 10 years. Actually I would be happy to get two years out of it.
