I recently purchased the Anker wireless charger and I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The charger is sleek and compact, making it easy to fit on my desk or nightstand without taking up too much space. The charging speed is impressive, as my phone charges quickly and efficiently. I love the convenience of being able to simply place my phone on the charger and have it start charging immediately, without needing to fumble with cords or plugs. The build quality of the charger is also top-notch. It feels sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last a long time. The non-slip surface ensures that my phone stays in place while charging, even if I accidentally bump it.I also appreciate the versatility of the charger. It is compatible with a wide range of devices, including both iPhones and Android phones. This makes it a great option for households with different types of phones.Overall, I highly recommend the Anker wireless charger. It offers fast and efficient charging, is well-built, and is compatible with a variety of devices. It has made my charging experience much more convenient and hassle-free.
Well, well, well, if it isn't my new sidekick in the battle against phone battery life. This little guy may not have the super strength of Thor's hammer or the lightning speed of The Flash, but it's still pretty darn useful.Let's get the negative stuff out of the way first. It's not exactly the Usain Bolt of charging, if you catch my drift. I mean, it's definitely not the kind of charger that you can use for a quick power-up while you're waiting in line for your morning coffee. But hey, who needs speed when you have stamina, am I right? And by stamina, I mean this thing can keep your phone alive for another full battery life. Now, let's talk about the positives. The design of this thing is sleek and sexy, like a modern-day Iron Man suit for your phone. It's lightweight and easy to carry around in your pocket or purse, so you can keep your phone alive on the go. And let's not forget the real reason we're all here: it's super easy to use! Just plug in your phone and watch as it comes back to life, like Frankenstein's monster. So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a battery pack that can charge your phone at the speed of light, keep on walking, my friend. But if you want a reliable sidekick that can keep your phone alive for another round of social media stalking, this is the battery pack for you.
Good product, like other Anker products. Not huge battery capacity (only charges around 80% of my iPhone 13 Pro), but it's fine, good as backup.I almost didn't get this battery because a lot of reviews say that you can't turn it off and only use it as a stand, but they're only partially correct. You see, that's right… you can't turn it off once you stick it, but you CAN KEEP IT OFF and use it as a stand.First, make sure that the battery is off (no indicator lights) by pressing the button 3 seconds. Then put the battery pack in the back of your iPhone… charging won't start until you press the button. This way you can keep the battery pack together in your pocket or just use it as a stand and only start charging until you really need it.Btw, this also happens with other Anker batteries (usb) and my previous iPhone 11. Charging didn't automatically start when plugging the cable, only until pressing the button and seeing the led lights.Hope it helps.
UPDATE: added a star because the customer support was phenomenal. They wanted to ensure my charger was working properly and continued to check in to see where they can help:I bought three chargers in anticipation of my travel coming up. I tested 3 options out to see which I like bestI put all 3 magsafe chargers in a line for comparison (photo of 3 for comparison of size, looks and I'll put descriptions below). To note I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max which uses about equivalent to an iPhone 14 charge requirement as well.Very left (#1) Moft charger:- COST $79.99 (plus 15% discount code) + tax- LOOKS: leather? Sleek, looks great and most compact - card holder/ wallet (if you purchase with) holds max 4 cards but realistically 2-3, 4 was incredibly tight but overall rate the looks 5/5- TECH SPECS: battery capacity 3400 mAh - rated capacity 1750 mAh - wireless output 7.5W/5W- PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: this charged my iPhone 13 Pro Max about 40% when almost dead (not sure if my charger was defective but incredibly slow to charge and again not worth the money if only charges 40% max) rate 2.5/5 stars overall for functionality. It's overpriced for market value and for paying so much to only have it charge 40% is just too little. It does look beautiful and having the charge on the side is a huge plus because you can then keep your phone standing up while charging rather than having to lay it out. Again passthrough charge is so great to be able to charge your phone AND device at the same time and I like being able to stand up my phone so when I wake up I can easily see the time / alerts.Middle (#2) anker charger:- COST $44.99 + tax- LOOKS: love the look, of course like the look of moft better since it's leather, but this all black look and feel is also great. I would rate this 5/5.- TECH SPECS: battery capacity 5000 mAh- PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: charges my phone once down about 60%. Also slower in charge but moft was the slowest. Rating 3/5 because looks nice, however again doesn't charge as much as I would've liked and I hate that the charger is on the bottom because I can't keep my phone standing AND charging at the same time. I HAVE to lay down my iPhone to charge.Very right (#3) yiisonger charger:- COST $30.09 + tax- LOOKS: it looks better than I expected, however out of the three definitely the bulkiest so I give it a 3/5- TECH SPECS: battery capacity 10,000 mAh - rated capacity 6500 mAh- PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: at first was incredibly slow to charge ; however after the third time, began charging faster and charged my phone once FULLY. What I liked about this one is that it has 2 outputs for charging + MagSafe charge (so total 3). It also has passthrough charging but the most important which is similar to moft and what I like about moft is that you can keep it charging your phone while charging the battery pack, and if you want it upright on the stand, the side charger allows you to keep it standing rather than having to lay it out. That makes a big difference. Also I like seeing the % of battery left on the charger. For price, functionality, you can't beat it, even tho it doesn't look the prettiest compared to other too, but it's definitely not too bad. Rating 4.5/5 / just took off .5 because at the end of the day the other two look much prettier but you can't best price and functionality with number of ports and where charging ports are laid.
I have purchased Anker 622, Anker 633 as well as Apple's magsafe battery, tested all 3 and decided to keep this one and return the other 2.1) PortabilityFirst of all, portability is very important to me. I want to be able to put my magsafe battery in my pocket while attached to my phone and I want to be able to hold it and use my phone while charging. Anker 622 and Apple Magsafe are almost the same size and they are both very slim and lightweight while Anker 633 is heavier and bulkier.2) PowerApple's battery is the worst in terms of power. I tried charging my phone while using it and the battery percentage kept steady and even went down during heavy usage with the battery fully charged attached. Anker 622 and 633 have similar output and charged my phone at similar speeds. It's still very slow when charging wirelessly but better than Apple. When charging with a cable, Anker 633 can give 20W output while 622 only gives 12W but keep in mind that the fuller your phone battery is, the slower it will charge. This is not a battery issue, it's how your phone handles charging in order to preserve battery, so in other words it's the wattage the phone accepts at that time. For example, if your phone battery is at 5%, it will "accept" the max power, meaning 20W from Anker 633 and 12W from 622, both charging with USB-C cable. But if your phone battery is at let's say 70%, it will maybe "accept" just about 11W max so the difference between 622 and 633 is not very relevant. Note that Apple's battery does not accept have an output port to charge with a cable. There's something I found annoying with the 633 model when switching from wireless to cable charging. If I'm charging my iPhone wirelessly at 7.5W and connect a cable, the battery doesn't automatically switch to wired charging. I need to reboot it or detach and reattach my phone in order to switch to wired charging and get a faster charge. With the 622 model I don't have this problem because as soon as I plug in the cable it switches to cable charging. I guess this is because 633 gives you the ability to power off the battery if you just want to use it as a stand while 622 is always on when you have your phone magnetically attached.3) TemperatureAs other reviewers have mentioned, Anker 622 gets hot, but mine doesn't get super hot. I haven't had the issue with the battery getting so hot that the phone will shut off. Not sure if it's because I bought mine in October/2022. Apple's Magsafe and Anker 633 also get hot but much less.4) Advantages of eachSo, as I have mentioned, Anker 622 is the best in my opinion and it is the one I decided to keep especially due to portability and is also the cheapest of all 3. As of October 2022, Anker 622 is 47.99 while 633 is 79.99 and Apple's Magsafe is 99.99. But Apple's and Anker 633 have some advantages worth mentioning:Apple- Uses a lightning cable, so it can be charged with the same cable you charge your phone. No need for an extra cable but there are rumors that iPhones will be switching to USB-C next year- Shows the magsafe battery percentage on your phone similar to your airpods. On the other hand the battery itself doesn't have any lights indicating how much juice it has left which is annoying.Anker 633- 10000 mAh which can fully charge my iPhone 12 Pro more than 1 time- USB-A and USB-C output ports to charge different devices.- 20W output when charging with a cable as long as your phone battery is nearly empty- Option to turn on/off batterySummaryThe choice of which battery to get depends on your personal preference. If you're buying this just to travel and want to bring only one battery with you, the 633 might be a better choice for you. In my case, portability is very important so I'd rather travel with two 5000 mAh batteries rather than carry one 10000 mAh. I normally fully charge my phone battery while at the hotel and then just bring a powerbank to help my phone survive the whole day and 5000 mAh has enough power to do that. I don't want to be carrying a heavy and bulky battery around.Note that there's a new version of the 622 battery with the USB-C port on the side but it seems to be expensive so not sure if it's worth it.
It works, but you have to align the smart phone(without the protective case) and even when you find the sweet spot, you have to slide around to get a charge. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the phone horizontally. The cable for charging/connecting that came with does not have an adapter that I can plug in, so, I have to use a substitute it for what I have already, but leaving the rest of adapters at home because I lost one at work(which is why I bought this for superior convenience). The foldable thing behind is magnetized and easy to prop up like a phone stand, but would be nice if the magnet on the front can hold horizontally well. It's sleek enough to fit into almost any pocket, light weight, and has a button to check the power.I only consider buying it when I did because of a sale going on.Yet to thoroughly try using it at full power.
First you should know this charger only charges at 7.5w, 2.5w faster then the apple battery pack. However, it wont ever be as fast as just plugging in your device to a wall charger. I have the iPhone 13 pro, and it fits perfectly with a case on however if you don't have a case on you notice a bit of overhang. This charger can get my phone from 17% to ~95% but it wont charge as fast if you're using power demanding apps. The stand is also great, personally I don't use it as much but its always convenient when I need it.GamingGaming with this battery pack is great and will slowly charge your phone while playing but playing games such as call of duty with high graphics will just drain the battery form pack rather than your phone. But lighter games such as Clash Royale or crossy road where they don't demand much graphical performance work just great and won't stop your phone from charging. I also did notice it gets warm but not so much to where it's a concern of a fire or burning, almost having one of those hand warms you might see during the winter.Overall I have really enjoyed this product as it can help me get through a day with out having to be tied to a wall. I definitely recommend it and could even see myself getting a second one for traveling where outlets aren't always available. Not to mention being able to charge other devices such as my AirPods from the usb c port at the bottom.
But it has some, what I imagine, firmware issues. I've only been using it for a few weeks and even then occasionally, so I can't speak for it's longevity and quality long term, but I've noticed strange behavior, not frequently, but not super infrequently either. There've been a couple of times when I connected it via the magnet (not cord), my phone said "connected, not charging". Other times, when I connect my phone to it, it wouldn't start charging until I press the button on the bottom.Another issue I've seen is when charging the power bank, once fully charged, the lights will blink instead of recognizing it's full and discontinue charging, and even after I unplug it, will continue blinking until, again, I press the button on the bottom.Like I said, these things only happen sometimes, but enough to have me concerned.Otherwise, it works fine most of the time and I quite like it. The magsafe technology is very convenient, and the kickstand is pretty cool. I like that it's a magnetized folding plate instead of a flimsy plastic hinged thing like some other similar products have.
Now let me start by saying I found this product through a Tik Tok video, and that alone makes me sick.BUT. And this is a very large but, like JLO sized. Outside of that, this is the most incredible damn charger I've ever owned. I own 3 of them now, and I constantly get asked about it. I keep them charged up, I never even have to plug my phone in. This thing is insane. I throw it on my phone at work and leave it for a little bit, and bam phone is charged.Magnet is fantastic, I never worry about it falling off. Holds a ridiculous charge, charges super fast, my only complaint is that it gets warm. So I wouldn't recommend attaching it and throwing it in your pocket. It heats up but does the trick.I used to always use a portable charger that had to have the cord plugged in, but now I never touch that old thing. These chargers are amazing, 10/10 would recommend.
I'll be going on a trip soon and wanted to give wireless charging a try. First impressions of the housing, it has a nice soft and silky feel to it. It doesn't seem to keep or show fingerprints/oil like other similar feeling material. It also doesn't seem to be a dust magnet like the rubber material on my Anker PowerCore II Slim. Overall it feels solid with soft edges that won't dig into your hands.Moving on to the main reason why I bought this, wireless charging. I mean, off the bat, it works as described. Pop it on the phone and it starts charging. It does get a little warm but not uncomfortable to hold in my opinion. There are countless videos talking about specs and charging time so I won't delve further into that. The second reason why I bought this was because I was interested in the stand feature. More importantly, using it as a stand without charging. There's one review on here that says if you press the button for 3 seconds, until the leds turn off, then put it on your phone, it'l stay off and you can use it purely as a stand. I tried counting in my head for 3 seconds, using a timer for 3 seconds, pressing the button until the leds turned off (more like 5 seconds), and I didn't get a reliable result. I think it stayed off twice but for the most part it would auto charge. There's also a response to a question on the product saying they called Anker support and Anker's response was that only the 633 could be turned off, not the 622. So this is kind of a bummer but the 633 or the Apple battery pack don't have built in stands but are double the price, which is why I just went with and will keep using the 622.
