I plugged it in and set my iphone on it, right side up or upside down, both charge the phone just fine.I'm using an iphone X.Just because there were some ratings that were asking for these metrics:The charging seems to be about usual. Just know that if there's a blinking light from the side of the dock it means that the phone and dock weren't connected well and need to be readjusted.I don't think this device would be good for movement/travel, and does best in a single location. It would be alright in a hotel or air BNB, but not for like, in the car or airplane.
got 2 on sale. Nice for the price. Seem to work well. I like that that 'shut off' when charged, protect my S23. They do hold the hone nicely. No slipping..
I've been using this wireless charger for over a month and I'm very pleased with it. I appreciate that it sits upright, making it easy to use my phone while it charges. Although it's not the fastest charger, it works reliably on both my iPhone 12 and Galaxy S20+, even with the cases on. It comes with its own charger cord and is lightweight. My son's phone has a broken charging port, so we've been relying on wireless charging, and this charger has been a lifesaver. The indicator lights are a nice touch, showing when the device is charging. Overall, it serves its purpose well and we're happy with it.
Unit does NOT come with a wall adaptor. Just a USB-A to USB-C cord. Unit needs the C connection. You need to provide a wall adaptor yourself...and if you read the fine print, a 15+ watt USB will do the trick. I used a 5w unit, and it took forever to charge. i bought some 18watt units and bam! Quick charge enabled...even said so on my Samsung S10 phone...yes and the phone is still working great.Travels OK...kinda bulky, as it does not fold. Also does not have a watch charger on it, but that's ok, keeps the price down and less to not work in a year or so.Overall, a BUY if you can get a 15W or higher wall USB charger.
